The Belt Buckle
inspired by a song

In third year of college, this interesting project was assigned to us where we were asked to design a ‘Belt buckle’ inspired by a song. The buckle had to portray the feelings of the song along with well defined detailing structure. The main aspect of the project was to observe the emotional aspects of the song and portraying it to a functional product.
The lyrics are truly captivating and contemplative, highlighting life's mix of twists and turns. They encourage us to embrace life's journey without pause, no matter the obstacles. When designing, I began with journey elements, and the final form drew inspiration from a moving vehicle's wheel, featuring straight lines and curved paths, all pointing towards the path of progress in life.
